And it seems that stealth addresses are working perfectly in the monocle alpha, not like the masterbater nodes that keep getting pushed back.

All those masternodes/steath address/dark wallet aren't ultimate solutions for privacy problem. Most of the coins based on Bitcoin protocol, we can't have real anonymity unless the protocol is re-written completely, i.e. we need privacy at protocol level.
