this is to reduce multiple accounts to apply for the giveaway, i guess. What we can see is that there's already a huge interest and there are still 3 weeks to go. The whole giveaway will last 6 months.

That will be a really fair distribution in the end. The more people have some PMP the better it will be for the coin.

This is exactly the reason we are doing it manually.
We may switch to an automated system in the very near future that compiles the list, then we will manually review the applicants and weed out the sockpuppets.
This way users will show up almost immediately after applying for stake, while still reducing double-dipping.

I'm spending an inordinate amount of time reviewing accounts though when I should be focusing on other things.
Hoping to optimize the system over the next couple days.
