Save as %appdata%\potcoin\potcoin.conf but change "save as type" to All Files first. (Don't save as potcoin.conf.txt!) Then open your wallet again. (On windows, %appdata% is probably equivalent to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming, but just use %appdata% to be sure.)

Expect the synch to take a while (possibly hours), but you should see progress. Also the wallet might become momentarily confused about how many blocks to expect. (That was a problem a couple of days ago but I haven't noticed it lately and it only lasted a short while each time.)
