I have no doubt what you say is true. I had a similar fabrication issue. They have a new poker arm called BCPoker and i played there for a few weeks. One day they froze my account and made up some story that i had 8 accounts... yet i know i only have 1.

To make it worse they simply choose not to communicate with me at all, ever. I only found out about the multi account allegation through holydarkness here on this forum. So i'm left with no way to get my money back because they ignore any attempt at a dialogue. They even blocked me on their Telegram just for asking why my account was frozen. It's all very frustrating.

EDIT: And regarding the BC profile logo accounts - yes they are generally paid promoters who have it in their interests to make BC look a reputable company. That's how this forum operates. It's a murky inhumane place.
