So I don't know much about hiveos - although I'm sure it'll have a unzip utility you can use to access the binaries.

I'm planning to release some new ones soon that address some of the issues that came up since the binaries were first launched.

It sounds like you've got your node running - is that on another platform?

yes i have my node running on windows and is now fully synced i am going to play around with it today and see if i can get the mining working.
