For Solana:

256 GB RAM recommended (128 GB minimum, 512 GB for validator)

Ultra-fast NVMe SSD (2–4 TB minimum)

12–16 core CPU or more

Fiber optic connection (symmetrical, not ADSL)

Price: €250–800/month for a good server (hosted by OVH, Hetzner, Scaleway, Ionos, etc.)

Offering a trial or demo doesn't prove anything about actual performance or security.

Many scams also offer trials or free demos to gain trust (and then retrieve the private key if you buy it).

The machine itself, the support, the ultra-fast internet, the SSD RAID, the uptime… all of this is EXPENSIVE, no matter the country.

And even in Eastern Europe or Asia, no one runs a real Solana node just "for the electricity."

This is a classic argument to hide the true cost (and make it seem like $500 makes sense).
