. I mean it's obvious that she knows how to live with less, so when we make a lot, she could still spend less and we could have a comfortable life, but instead she starts to spend more because we earn more lol.

Some people are just not meant to be financially reasonable and you just have to focus on having a good life, if you can do that then you can have all the fun in the world and should be able to make as much profit as you can. Otherwise it makes no sense to keep trying to do the same thing over and over again.
