I only know some of those projects and they are not comparable to elastic. For example, SONM doesn't even have a whitepaper and they cannot explain how they pay the miners (Unanswered question: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1845114.msg29159219#msg29159219 ).

Saying they are not comparable without any reasons isn't terribly convincing.

I'm not that into sonm, but I think you put up a security deposit as a "miner" (aka computation provider), not requiring proof of work.
