Improving the state of existence, of course!!!!! In the eternal fight against the vicious, arbitrary, capricious, pointless cruelties & vagaries of this physical Universe we exist in (for now), sapient beings such as Venusians & Terrans have developed further advanced technology to enhance our lives & bring our societies closer to utopian enlightenment. Such has always been the key to happiness, fulfillment, and purpose.

Thus, the most enlightened & progressive function of any financial activity ought to be enshrined as, to use any gains for long-term investment into the scientific development of our future civilizations (which, make no mistake, incidentally will return some serious $$ dividends as demand grows for the newly developed technological wonders that completely change entire industries & lifestyles).
