When I'm the one who does all the work to request a checkuser, theymos has been nice enough to not take my thunder by posting the response himself (I wouldn't mind if he did, since he's the one who has to look it up, but it does make it more clear who is handling the case). Most of the time, I have to wait several hours for that information, which is why it takes so long to appear.

I am more than happy to train anyone in doing a scammer investigation, just contact me. To make things easier for me, have a specific case in mind before asking me to train you, since I don't want to train people who'll never use the information. Plus, practical on-the-job training is so much better, anyway. And don't get confused, it is a job. It's insane what goes on behind the scenes...
