lately? Do you compare it to the times when faucets gave out 1 bitcoin per hour and one bitcoin was worth 0.50 cents? In those days, hardly anyone knew about bitcoin, so the userbase of a faucet would have been a few hundred people. Things have changed now... the higest paying faucets now pay out to millions of registered users. {Freebitco.in has 1,165,107 registered users}

The math to run a profitable faucet these days are staggering and if you get the margin wrong, you will die quickly.

@MichealBliss : Believe me, the rich kids of a first world country, will not benefit from using a faucet... they pay more for a cup of coffee than what you would make from a faucet in a year... but for a person in a 3rd world country, that same amount will be the difference between, having a cheap drink or having none at all.
