Hey Dev since you are making your rounds again you have any idea why my wallet won't sync? I have tried again and again and it just won't sync no more!! I wouldn't mind some help with that if you don't mind

Is the daemon synchronized? if yes, and the wallet wont sync, try to rebuild the wallet.

No the daemon won't sync for me or it's been so long since I've had the wallet open would I have to wait for a long time for it to catch up on the blocks that it is on?

First you have to let the daemon to sync and then you can open the wallet.

So don't even try opening the wallet till the daemon syncs?

You can open the wallet, of course, but you will have to wait until daemon syncs. Then you can start mining.
