I downloaded the Mac-qt and when I run it the wallet wants to make changes to my computer, WHY? This has not occurred with any other wallet? Be careful, please explain...

I noticed the config file has mining server enabled by default, don't know if that's what might be triggering it, not on a mac.

The wallet need root privileges to run. Beceause it can't make datadir on Apple Support folder like other wallets. I made a custom launcher to force it, otherwise it will not launch. You find the original wallet inside the the package, if you you try to lauch it, you will get a boot error.

You can try also Iridium Wallet (dead coin) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735152.0 , they are similar and tell me if you have this message.

if anyone look to karimdr2 post history they have built many mac wallets for other coins

EBK1000's Mac was already infected by an adawre (yes OSX can be infected too Grin
