Many/most people who are really good at trading do not need clients, since it is much easier and more profitable to trade for yourself.
One legit exception would be someone who wants seed money for a larger trading fund, but the best traders can often find ways to do-it-themselves.
Even if you find a perfect situation with an honest person it is not risk free.
