Evan was leaned on by other "Investors/exchanges and Businesses" To change the Name...He didnt even consult with major players in the community or people that have actually worked on the project....All this does is show that Evan is a horrible point of failure in this system, and its even worse he doesn't care what the community thinks he just implements change...If he is this quick to give in on Pressure from just exchanges and other people imagine how quickly he will fold to the big 3 letter agencies. Again what you all did was fucking idiotic looking at how DRK was on the verge of exploding, now you all will have caused a gross over correction.. that will continue to fall as many lost trust in the Dev or team..

You think oh name change will change adoption rate when the ALT scene is so miniscule in the first place... Drk was big cause we Owned this small ALT scene... but for some reason you all think that your gonna be able to surpass bitcoin... That is the reality. The hope is to get a part of the marketshare in anonymity. Darkcoin/Dash is not going to surpass Bitcoin, end of point. What Evan and his totalitarian rule is doing now, is decreasing the chances of Darkcoin/Dash being used as an actual anonymous crytpocurrency within the crypto community, which is the only hope that Darkcoin/Dash would actually thrive.
Believe me you all will curse this idea and day you made this switch thinking you were gonna go capture a market cap when your about to loose the brand loyalty and market cap that Dark got you in the first place... You can say fud or whatever you want but when people see real community contributors and devs with their dicks caught blowing in the wind because someone went behind them and made a major change that was consulted and approved by all...well its never something anyone wants to be apart of
Ill be shutting down my 4 master nodes when I get home from work today and liquidating them...some peice of me thought you might see the errors in your way but its obvious you all haven't and wont... Also its obvious you don't see what was so wrong and why so many people were mad with the way this all was done

Guys, please don't let your sentimental attachment to the old name cloud your judgement. Darkcoin would never gain traction outside of dark markets and nerds. When I brought it up to anyone outside of crypto, people had immediate negative reactions to the name. It makes sense to us, but for others dark= bad, criminal, evil etc.
