Yeah there is. Just because he seems to be a likable guy who was heavily involved in bitcoin early on does NOT make him any less of a criminal.

Not to mention he has ripped off forum members for large amounts of btc. He seemed to have a good rep until his trial/sentencing. Just another bad person associated with btc. Any good he previously did is now undone by scamming people on here.

You certainly should NOT be giving him money. There are much worthier causes you can donate to.
