You may indeed be, but the fact is that NEM needs an identity / USP........much of NEMs identity right now seems to rely on not being Nxt and having a 'fair' distribution, but that won't keep people interested for very long. Especially given the way that some crypto investors expect profits to magically appear after 2 or 3 days.....

What is NEM ? Answers on a postcard, please, to.....

As I said before, I think the beginning can be especially misleading, much more so for these kind of projects. The safest bet in such cases is to bet on the people working on the project, this is why I'm betting on NEM.

I agree with Dave that NEM needs a better job of not only figuring out its identity and spreading that message.

I also would like to remind everyone that we are less than a week from Nemesis.  Most coins don't even have a good wallet at this point.

We have a team of 70 people working hard as Pat said and a team of amazing core devs.  I expect in the weeks and months to come that we can really start to fully find our identity and message and be able to present NEM better.  Another thing that should be mentioned is all 70 of these people are volunteers who have worked all the way up to the point for free and many of us even spending money out of our own pockets.  That is a pretty huge deal.

I followed several cryptocommunities and I see that NEM goes the same route. And the result will be the same if you don't stop for a moment and revise the plan. What unique does NEM have that the others didn't? Emphasize these very points. I'm not talking about cool tech, Nxt clearly showed that 99% of us don't care about tech progress.

Maybe it's because I'm tired but I actually aggre with you on that (apart from the fact that NEM is taking that route, I don't think it is).
Most cryptos focus on tech, tech and tech. Solid tech is needed but adding every feature in the book just to have it is bullshit. We need to do what's necessary to gain adoption and to make people realize that NEM isn't meant to be just another crypto.

Cfb's comment is also valid.  I especially like hearing from developers of past coins reflect on how new devs should go forward.  I value feedback based off of rare experience.

I think we need to find something unique that speaks to our user base and get that message out.
