My experience with LuckyFlop: It's probably one of the best bitcoin poker sites to get free money. There are a lot of freerolls and the skill level of the players is imho lower than at other sites. The software isn't perfect, but isn't terrible either. In my opinion the Windows client doesn't add anything to the HTML5 client.
One of the biggest downsides of the software is that it doesn't show the right "Lucky Points" balance. In the Windows client it shows a balance that is like 600 points higher than my actual balance, it looks like points used as buy-ins for freerolls aren't deducted from this balance. At the homepage there's another balance, this one should be accurate. But for me it is really impossible to get the balance live updated. Refreshing is required, but it only helps me occasionally. I've played for hours in the past without any change in my lucky points balance (and no, I am not stupid, I know which tables and which hands qualify for points). As this whole balance thing is very confusing I've contacted support a few times.
The support of LuckyFlop is definitely below par. I am not sure, but it looks like the sole owner is doing the support as well. He's maybe a good coder, but client support is something else. When I'm having issues I get replies like: "it does work I know it works" and "works for everyone". He's treating me like I'm retarded. When this is your mindset things will never improve. The owner isn't interested at all in my issues, he didn't ask which browser I use, he's self-righteous and doesn't believe me at all.
As I want to have my balances live updated and don't want to wait for hours until it's updated, I'll quit playing here. Too bad the owner doesn't listen to his users when they are having issues. I am not interested in a long technical discussion here at btctalk. The owner knows the problem, but isn't interested in solving it. LuckyFlop definitely has a great potential, but I think the mindset has to change drastically.
