Beliathon is correct. The people do not exist for the economy, and the economy does not exist for capital. It is the people that must be served.

The social welfare system is so much more than just charity. We cannot just say to rich people: Please, give something to the poor. We must say to the people: help yourself! Everyone must help! Rich or poor! Everyone must the Glauben haven that there's someone in a much worse situation than I am, and this person I want to help as a comrade.
