OK did some reading, got a copy of minerd and placed it in the /usr/bin folder. Got this output:

Got a new version of minerd, now I get the error"miner unknown algorithm"..

What version is the wallet? It needs to be 1.1.0.0, and I'm not sure if the mac wallet was tested, or even if it was updated as I have no mac to test it with.
