Something may happen, it may not. You have to realize that this is very small time for the federal authorities to actually give a shit about, especially because it's such a weird thing.

Waiting for the law will take forever and may not result in anything. Make a big enough stink about a cantor Fitzgerald vp being within smelling distance of 9/11 charity fraud and you will actually get people to listen to you and may get some results. I think people are greatly overestimating how much money was involved. If people lost the amount of money to match all the cheerleading done in this thread they would have made a lot more noise when the shit hit the fan.
