I hear many people in the community state that what is good for Bitcoin to be good for Monero (I.E. when bitcoin shoots up in price people will jump to other alt currencies). However, Monero, as I'm sure you're aware, isn't just a replica of Bitcoin like so many of the other alt currencies out there. Which is why I wouldn't be surprised to see an inverse relationship between the price of Monero and Bitcoin after Monero surges in price some.

You make good points but disagree with "superior" comment

Monero is better for privacy, bitcoin has huge first mover advantage and mainstreet visability. Different advantages, none superior to the other
