As far as the best coin? I only use bitcoin. Litecoin has some following, but almost all alt-coins are a train wreck and some are outright scams. I would avoid them until you completely understand the bitcoin protocol. At which point you will want to avoid them.

I get lost about page 5 myself. By page 7 it turns to math and might as well be written in Klingon. Cheesy

But I thought the first few pages are sort of readable.
