Acts of kindness and love may be less mentioned these days, but they are as more a part of religions than hate. Christianity and Islam have long traditions of helping the less fortunate. Christians who can do so are supposed to give 10% of their money via the system called "Tithing". In Islam "Zakat" is one of the 5 pillars of Islam that all Muslims must uphold. Like Tithing, Zakat is a system to redistribute wealth via religious giving.

In the USA, tithing 10% is taught by the fundamentalist, and not the mainstream denominations. Some may disagree, but I have seen tithing as having been negatively viewed, I believe as the result of it's promotion by the TV evangelist "Mega Churches," with their numerous scandals.

I'm sure some of them want 90%. "Tithe" does mean 1/10. But yes, few do give 10%.

Some of them do get 90%. Some of them get 100%, like on the death of a lonely rich widow. It's disgusting. Again, some people may disagree. I tend to see the evil sides of those operations more than what good they may do. If any. Fuck em.
