Better to use Bitgo or GA for web wallet. And you should store your coins on cold wallet, electrum is my recommendation.

2FA security makes the account safer from unauthorized activity.
I use it too, at the moment it seems good and their referral system is high too.
But the whole system(coinbase) does not provide private key for the funds there.

Their reff commision is depends on country.
And yes they is just an exchanger which also web wallet, they will not give you a private key.
