Download the "GYFT" app or KEYRING app to your smartphone and put them in that. They create a "portable" gift card with a scanable barcode. Then put on a disguise with fake eyebrows and fake mustache and try and find something for $25 in a Brookstone store that's actually worth $25.

Sandy what's your thoughts on the sites where you can sell gc's for real money? Do you think this can be used for those sites?

As long as they take "e-gifts." Some do. check out: http://www.giftcardgranny.com/sell-a-gift-card/#card-info-form but if they turn out bad they will have all your "real" info so you might get a call from your local PD.
