You need to edit your trust settings by adding the members name to your trust list

Profile-->Trust-->Trust Settings

Then only the OP will be able to see his much desired +

Just because he is a "Hero", doesn't mean he is on the Default Trust list, which is where he must be for the trust he left you to show as a +.

I don't know, I tried Mrbrt way and it is working for me, you see my +ve trust ?
