The case was a pretty big upgrade though. At one time I had a batch one 28M without case. But it seemed ok at first twords end I was babying it with a AC close to it, and a batch file to restart it from crashes.

How stable is this batch without a case?

they are quite stable , The case was a case , it looks more tidy with a case , actually no more other thing added with the case version .
