I've heard poker has skills involved, I never played poker though. But I definitely agree with you, luck is all you need in gambling and also in growing bitcoins, you'll probably need a lot luck to successfully grow your BTC Grin

Luck plays a role in everything you do. However you need to think a little bit before you do something. That gives you the edge you need.
Try to invest in more securities. search for stuff where you have the edge not the house.

in other words, don't gamble. the odds are never in your favor.
