Yes- the sentence says "them" implying you and your goons. Some of the goons have stated multiple times that there is a wallet with 50% of the coins. It was also stated that forking is a concern because the entity holds 50% of the coins.

so the goons have mislead people into thinking that a group holds 50% of the coins and could fork the coin.
