No, it does not mean that. Obviously when something is so young, the inventors of it are the ones who are going to have all of the knowledge. For everyone else it will take quite some time to fully understand everything. I'm actually not bothered by this complexity and people are way too scared of it. When I program myself, I usually end up solving the problem the complex way without realizing it (it just depends on individuals). Also, just remember that everything about Bitcoin was "complex" to someone at a certain point in their life.
