It was mostly a tinkering project, and is actually my first kernel. However I've been messing with android for quite awhile now, this being my first actual release. Feel free to hit me up in PM here or xda if you ever feel like chatting android internals.
Just FYI for anyone worried about bricking your device with a new kernel/rom... first setup 'multirom' which will protect your main rom whentesting new stuff Wink
