Bot protection is a hot issue currently. It seems that no captcha on it's own is enough to prevent bots. You should:

I am not sure if this is a good practice to be honest, since a lot of people use proxies/VPNs for many reasons. It would decrease traffic and earnings would be much lower.

Didn't know that, will check it out and see the pros and cons of both, then will decide on which one I'll use.

That wont be an issue, since I've coded something which will prevent bots. Not 100% of course, but we'll see.
Will check out CF later.
