You see bitcoin's price dropped 20% in one day. How volatile it is? This is the reason scaring ppl away from it. But I am still having faith in it. I will continue to hold some amount of bitcoin.

A majority of the reason as to why Bitcoin is so volatile is because some of the speculator and investor confidence is being manipulated, which is the primary reason as to why the price is volatile. The investors get antsy, and thus is causes a surge of people wanting to sell before their assets become worthless.

People get scared because of a lack of people being able to remain steadfast, and sell because they are easily swayed. It will require more confidence before we actually see a movement towards stability and the wider acceptance.
