I think this is a flawed logic, when the day comes that bitcoin is rendered absolete, the price fall will be very sudden, I think within 24 hours, as everyone tries to sell off their bitcoin, again this is my view

well something like bitcoin is not going to become obsolete in one day it is going to take a long time if it were to happen.

Exactly. Some will still have faith and will start buying once the price gets too low in hopes that it makes a comeback. The decay will take a while as more people realize there is no hope. In the end I hope to buy all the bitcoin for $10. I'll be the last man standing. (joking of course)

Although I don't believe bitcoin will ever die.
