To be fair, I'm not sure if it's Religion which is the cause of that.

Because Badecker and most other bigots I've seen seem so crazy they would be similarly mad even without religion. They would just claim that earth is flat and not that God is the programmer of evolution that's all xD

Actually, it is the other way around. Since science proves that God exists, the whole religion of atheism is based on ignorance bordering on stupidity.
