Bitcoin will be more popular in future for sure but that doesn't guarantee the collapse of the banking system as a whole, there would people of many countries that would be depending on banks for their financial transactions.

That is right, banks won't really collapse, as it was run by not just one, they might make innovations in the future, just to cope up with the system and technology like what the bitcoin have...
