try to trace the history of big projects. I'm not saying that delay is a rule, but try research. Almost always there are delays. At the same company sometimes CEO give one job for two competing groups at the same time and it can be that no one make it at time. Other starting work later terminated earlier. If necessary in order to achieve quality customized serious matter under the exact time frame will suffer quality. I'm sure no one here except the trolls will be pleased with your annoyance.
