Yes. One can last more than a day (probably three days) with 2 Bitcoin on a gambling site - assuming that the rate is 400 USD per Bitcoin.

Agree. If price is going up quickly, do not follow those people. Instead, wait until it become stable for a few days before buying. Same goes when the price drop - you never know how far it will drop.
