To be honest, I feel like it's actually kind of ridiculous to take raising our children to that type of extreme. I just reverse image searched that house and it's worth $12,000. I'm not about to spend that kind of money on toys for my child to teach them home owner's insurance. If you really wanna do that, are you also going to be painfully realistic and teach them the pain of going bankrupt and living on the street if they lose that house? That's too much for a child to take in at such a young age. Forget it.
To be honest, I think it's better they find these things out now than later. Better to educate the child ASAP. The last thing you would ever desire is your child being unaffiliated with such things. It's also very important to have their future locked in beforehand so they're not questioning where they belong or anything of that nature. When I was young, my parents never really bought me toys or taught me any kind of life lessons. It was always them parenting as they go along, and just stepping in when they felt things were getting dangerous for me. I don't think they ever cared.
