Because the Lisk chief dev posted at least one message saying not to. Before that message was spread around, I saw three Lisk trading threads.

I own some Lisk, admittedly, but I also own some IOTA: ~30'000's worth, all bought on the Nxt AE at post-ICO prices. So my conflicts of interest balance out enough to make me agnostic. Tongue

If you are going to trade Lisk, you would also have to give-up the email account or else it could be reset through their support center. It makes it difficult, but not impossible, to trade.

You're right: that's why the trade threads ground to a halt.
