That is great point. Every alternate to gambling addictions would be better in many ways like financially and also in psychologically. I do see gambling addiction as a psychological problem so we need to approach it emotionally to get rid of it.

Yes gambling addiction must be a psychological disorder to gambler. But I believe this disorder does not need any peculiar treatment other than deviating our concentration to other different things/hobbies.

All you need to do is to take away your attention to gambling and point it to a new one that would help you live a normal and happy life.
