I think he mean for today is not on a single day but rather this period. And yes I agree to him. I can make more earnings if I will rotate my coins thru exchange rather than to wait for 10 or 20 years.

Person A : Holding BTC1 for 10 years starting today = Approximately 1 uᴉoɔʇᴉq price in 10 years = $1k

Person B : Has BTC1 and will circulate in world of trading for 10 years.

Who will got the most profit?

Person B would profit more from his daily trading and he will be happy with that than holding his coin and do nothing about it.
