Did you put your passphrase between "" , like :

"forging": {
"secret" : ["YourDelegatePassphrase"] <- Replace with your delegate passphrase

um im just in the web wallet and when i click on the turn on forging it says access denied

Gotta replace "YourDelegatePassphriae" with your real data. Make sure to put it in quotes. ["wood book blah food"] not like [wood book blah food]

then refresh the browser, sometimes that helps.

what? no... i go here https://login.lisk.io/forging and click forge on in top right and it tells me access denied

restart your server, restart the website and log back in. If your real key is not in the config file it wont let you forge, even if it is a tiny bit wrong it wont forge.

I think he is not running a server or dont know what it is. Let him just be, he will go away.

hy funny. you have to get more into it. you cant forge without running a node. read the docs.
