Nah. If tx was never broadcasted the first time around, bitcoins have never left the wallet, so nothing is lost.

But can't figure out how could someone accumulate that much. Probably either lucky gambler or just used freebitcoin as an online wallet.

If you watched the video that Ratier posted, you'll see that he actually made deposits into freebitcoin on several occasions. One for 66BTC, and another for 10BTC, iirc. Beats me why anyone would want to deposit that much into the site, but, hey... to each their own!

Maybe he's doing that to buy more tickets, there is a chance that you can win on freebitco.in's weekly lottery jackpot if you have more tickets to buy, and there is also a big chance that you can win high amounts on their Multiply BTC roll game if you have a high-amount bets.
