Yes everyone is hyping about it and I think its logical that they are hyping about it because the price is gonna rise most likely due to the halving that is coming this year in July/June.
There is a big chance the price will rise to a higher amount and there are even people saying that its gonna reach a record height for the bitcoin itself.
If this happen it would be very good for the popularity but also for us all to make profit of course.

It will rise even after the Halving. Because people will realise that the amount of BTC is limited. And also, there will be another halving approaching and so on.
