Waves team is building first production system on top of Scorex framework where Waves token will be the fuel of whole platform and all transactions happening there, from issuing the assets, through transfer, depositing and withdrawing other supported currencies on the platform. Focus is on custom asset creation, lite client, end-user, no blockchain download, decentralized exchange, asset-asset trading, fiat assets, working with payment providers from the start and being decentralized kickstarter at the same time. Waves will have its own implementation of POS, its own transaction types, its own unique reputation system on the blockchain and many more things. Can you elaborate little more on the following:
-fiat assets -> what are they? more details please if possible...
-working with payment providers from the start -> what payment providers? do you talk to any of them?
-own implementation of POS -> what will be differences between regular POS and your implementation?
-all lite client end-users will be able to lease their balance to full nodes and receive rewards also -> is this something like delegated harvesting in NEM?

Fiat tokens issued and fully backed by payment providers, will be announced before gateways integreation. Tech paper will be available in late May/early June. Anyone who has balance above 0 will be able to get rewards from the network by hosting full node or leasing their balance. No idea about NEM.

For depositing/withdrawing fiat you will need to do KYC on fiat gateways that will be integrated. While depositing your fiat will be converted to proper fiat token. Next you can trade it for Waves token and other currencies, assets supported on the platform. For trading crypto only and trading fiat tokens only without depositing/withdrawing fiat on the platform no KYC needed. Waves fiat tokens will be also integrated in Mycelium wallet.
