Therefore some more upwards movement wouldn't be bad for $500+ being the new bottom.

not only that, but a lot of people are not selling any time soon because everyone knows the halving is coming and holding is the wisest thing to do right now.

I agree with this. It is a bad time to sell as the bitcoin price will rise a lot in the next few months at least.
