I had not logged in for like 3 months, I came back and my PM inbox was full with scam accusations.

Safest thing is to just remove this account.

Lol, things don't work that way, scamming others and then telling that your account got hacked and that u want to get ur account deleted to remove all possible tracks that leads to your personal information. You have no proof of your account being hacked, u could have changed the passowrd by yourself and fake the hack.

Thats is very true and unfortunatly I cannot prove anything. But surely mods would be able to see the ip used when this account was used for scamming.
I have a belgian ip, but then you could of course say i used a vpn...
But as you can see in this thread, they might have already figured out my account got hacked.
But yeah, I'm pretty fucked 'cause i can't prove anything.

I don't think the scam as described in the OP matches TF's MO for scamming, in fact I would say that it is far from his MO.
