To do free stuff? Do you know how much money it would take to organise these things to scale, to actually mean something? We could just as easily approach corporate sponsors and get thousands and thousands of dollars from their CSR fund. But we thought this would be unique, to be funded by Bitcoins.
We have donated around $375 to this. We continue to donate. When we're completely out of funds, we go to peoples houses to ask for donations. We go around knocking at 200 peoples houses. Why? Does that seem like scamming to you?

Yes, this is the only part where I agree with Joel. Do not donate if you think this is a scam. Please ask for proof. Please wait a bit, see what else we do. There is no deadline.
